  • 1898 Hat #65

  • I always add a mod of reducing the crown a little quicker, and eliminating the “plain knit” round after K6, K2tog. I reduce at every row after that point. This cuts back on the slight “point” on the top.

  • I have always used the Provisional Crochet cast-on and kitchenered the join on this hat (in the approx 60 I have knit.) I think this makes a nice flat, neat, imperceptible join.

  • Yay, finished knitting this up on Christmas Eve. Then wrapped and under the tree!
