• This pattern is especially perfect to have on the needles at all times as it is extremely easy to pick up and put down at any time.

• Adding eyelet rows at color changes:

  K1 (yo, k2tog) for eyelet rows between color changes

• When the color is changing on you mid-row, just keep going and do the eyelet in the next row. No worries!

• Plan to knit at least one shawl per month in 2020 for the Stony Brook Hospital/Cancer Center or other local charity ongoing needs (12in20)

• Depending upon need this and other planned shawls will be donated either to Stony Brook Hospital/Cancer Center, where my husband died, or the St. James Consolation Community Fundraising Raffle (November 2020).

Due to COVID the St. James Consolation Ministry 2020 raffle was cancelled. Stony Brook Cancer Center is no longer accepting shawls due to COVID. These shawls are all being delivered to Whisper Woods for staff and residents.
