Cast on 28 stitches. Slipped the first stitch with yarn in front at the beginning of each row, and knit the extra last stitch. Pattern was then knit as written in between.

Row 1: Swyif, * knit 2, knit into the back of the next stitch, purl 1. Repeat from * till there are 3 stitches left. Knit 3. Repeat till desired length.
