BAM! POW! BIFF! WHACK!

Remember Adam West and Burt Ward as Batman and Robin in the 1960’s? Well, not me as I wasn’t born yet, but I sure saw a lot of the repeats on TV growing up. And boy, were those episodes ever a crazy cavalcade of fantastic actors on a very wacky show. César Romero, Burgess Meredith, Julie Newman, Eartha Kitt, Vincent Price, Estelle Winwood, Carolyn Jones …. If you were (or had been) anyone, you were on Batman.

I wanted to make these in Cascade 220 Superwash on larger needles as I wanted to make sure they’d fit my hand. Then I went really loosey-goosey with the stranded colorwork (my first time!) to make sure they didn’t bunch. I think I was very successful and I enjoy the fact that they’re oversized. Better loose than too tight.
