2025-01-01: Brim

Because I like my beanies with a little extra height, I’m knitting 10 rows instead of 5 to start.

Body

The markers are necessary, but they’re in the way. Since only 4–5 of them are really necessary, I removed the unused ones, using some string to mark the 12 segments of the hat.

Disappointed in the contrast between these two yarns; I’m usually better at that.

2025-01-02: Finishing

I deeply dislike sewing, no matter how good Woolly’s instructions are. That may prevent me from knitting too many of these hats. Trying to talk myself into thinking of mattress stitch as naturally as I think of grafting (which I don’t mind as much).
