It took about the same amount of time to attach the trim as to knit the hat, but it was SO WORTH IT. This hat is so fluffy and looks adorable on my son! I am waiting for some snaps to come in the mail (I wanted some brass colored ones to contrast the blue yarn), so I should be done next week.

Finished the actual knitting part of the pattern in about 3 hours total. SO quick! The trim is a bunch of tiny pieces of yarn that is attached with a crochet hook. I am actually quite excited to start attaching!

I joined the KAL that’s currently underway in the Friends of Blue Sky Alapacas group.

Used Knitter’s Pride Trendz circular (the 24” cord from their chunky set worked, despite the pattern calling for a 16” circ) and their Basix birch DPNs.
