3/19/2016: Completed Rounds 1-10.

I enjoyed the symetry of the pattern. There were enough stitch changes per round to make it interesting and yet some repeats that made it easy to remember! Definitely the type of pattern I enjoy! I would rate it intermediate.

I measured in gauge using the “I” hook but I used hdc on round 12 instead of dc because of my own preference to not have my deep blue impact as strongly on my color scheme. I ended up adding a round of sc and a round of hdc to get it to 12 inches. So all-in-all… I was on gauge for the entire square…… very rare for me! I usually use an “H” hook, just an idiosyncrasy, which always leaves me needing more rounds.
