Notes

Trying out a variation on entrelac. In this fabric the squares are made of a knit-purl pattern. It’s fun to find out how the knits and purls interact…

The second photo is a 3-second movie to show better the points that are formed at the corners where the entrelac squares come together.

Key to this fabric is using a special entrelac join based on Ric Mondragon’s sliding loop technique. When I use this join to connect reverse-stockinette fabric to stockinette (knits to purls) the fabric is really smooth. I use the same join on all of my reversible entrelac fabrics as well.
