Notes

This is for the other smaller window in my living room. Since the bottom of this window is blocked by the couch, the tree pattern I used for the other window would not work. And I am tired of doing trees anyway. So I decided to do a sun that would be at the top of the curtain and look as if it were rising behind the couch. The sun rises on that side of the house in real life. I downloaded an image of a stylized sun that I thought would compliment the trees and ran it through www.pixel-stitch.net, an online cross stitch pattern generator, to come up with my chart. With a bit of tweaking I think what was created will work.

I decided to try using extended double crochet stitches for this one so my boxes will come out more square. Also hopeful that this will make the length grow faster.

11/15/20 Finished! I stretched it a bit widthwise as I steam ironed it. It’s still a tad narrow but not noticeably so. Now all my living room windows are done!

In the future I will do all filet crochet in extended double crochet because it does make for perfectly square boxes.
