My response to a forum thread debating the stitch used for a certain hat. The knitters were digging up rare esoteric techniques; the crocheters started posting pictures duplicating the simple post work. My hat is worked in rows that gently curve from crown to rim. The stitches end up horizontal. It works well for a hat - thick, with nice stretch for easy wearing.
The scarf is done in easy color blocks.
The yarn was reclaimed from a previous (unsuccessful) hat/scarf combo. It’s a worsted weight acrylic.
