Amazing silk yarn….this was my oldest UFO :-)

Was going to make a pillow when I started it. I love herringbone and the color went with a couch that we owned.

Skip forward 9 years :-] couch is gone, and I need boxes, containers; desk and dressertop objects.

I cut a square of very heavy Pelon and stitched the base to it. I then cut 4 side pieces of Pelon and kitchener stitched the side panels into the Pelon folded in half to hide the seams. Invisibly whip stitched the corners together handkerchief style. Viola! Finished dimensions: 9” x 9”
