Notes

BLOCKING: Designer suggests very modest blocking with an emphasis on creating the pleats. So I dried it folded with linen napkins between the pleats to increase air circulation and put a small fan on it. I used a pressing cloth and gave the pleats a light ironing, right-side in and also inside out and it’s perfect!

GARMENT: Fabulously clever, 100% reversible pattern. After one full set of repeat rows the pattern becomes so apparent that you can remove all markers -except for beginning of round- and FLY thru each row. So cool what you can do with a simple knit/purl pattern!

Used a sewn bind-off to make a very stretchy edge.

YARN: Pattern notes that it is very important to go down several needle sizes from your yarn’s recommended needle size. Squeezing Orihime Aran onto #4 needles seemed extreme to me, but now I see how important it is to create the textured pleat effect.
