Total experiment! I made a summertime hat with plain white cotton rolled brim and a blue & white body. I used fabric stiffener on the brim which gave the hat the necessary stiffness, but was uncomfortable to wear. So----I sewed a cotton jersey hatband with Pelon inside and fabric-glued that to inside of hat. It also helped create the shape of a straw hat.
