Notes

Decided I needed a neck thing and dove into my handspun stash to come out with this Silky Cashmerino of goodness. It’s about 16wpi.

So far these are the steps that I have done.

CO 150
Row 1 (RS): K50, pm, K50, pm, K to the end
Row 2 (WS): K all
Row 3 (RS): kfb, K to 1 before marker ssk, k2tog, K to 1 before the end of the row, kfb
Row 4 (WS): kfb, K to 1 before last sts, kfb

Repeat rows 3 & 4 until the section between the 2 markers is 38 sts. Then repeat Row 3 every other RS row until middle is 30sts.

Continue K each row with kfb at the first and last st until you reach desired width. I stopped at about 30” or 172sts total.

From this point I plan to continue in this manner until I’ve used all of my yarn with enough to bind off. Then I will lightly block so the fabric has some drape.

I imagine this would look good in seed stitch or another textured stitch pattern.
