Notes

The first Tiny Alien I made turned out so cute that I had to make another! And when other people made this in white, it made me think of the baby Adipose from Doctor Who, so I specifically wanted to make an Adipose. And it’s the right size for a 1/6th scale Adipose, so if I ever get a 1/6th scale 10th Doctor figure…. In the mean time, I took a picture of it with my teeny tiny 10th Doctor that Character Builder made.

It took me about an hour to make, but I did have a false start (I started to knit instead of purl, and had to fix my cast-on) and I did have to stop and fix a dropped stitch (oops). I used sequins for the eyes and embroidered the mouth and tooth, although the tooth barely shows up. The sequins are a bit big, but since this is a fairly simple, stylized pattern, I figured it wasn’t a problem and would still be super cute. (That, and I have a box full of TONS of black sequins that I rarely use, so I could stand to use a few of them up.)

I know there are Adipose patterns that are more accurate, but I’ve already sewn myself an Adipose plush and I wanted to do a tiny stylized one.
