“Kids” yarn has no stretch. 120-stitch CO makes the hat band too loose. I restarted with 80 stitches. Before the ribbing (I think), I increased to 120 stitches. That made the rolled edge look wrong, I thought (3rd photo), so I tacked the CO to the top of the ribbing.
