This is probably the most beautiful shawl I’ve ever knitted! All those beads are really worth the time and effort it takes to knit them in. Once that section is done, the rest is a breeze. The icord bind-off was a new technique for me and I love this so much I will surely add it to other projects. I’m just thrilled with this shawl!

Oct 20: yahoo! Knitting done. Now soaking. Blocking tomorrow!

Oct 19: all 23 repeats done!

Oct 15: 16 repeats done. Only 7 more to do!

Oct 2: now working on the 8th repeat. Only 15 more repeats to do!

Sept 26: did one 24 row repeat.
This is my first project with beads…I chose one with hundreds of beads to put in!!
But eventhough it’s slow going, I love the effect and the weight that the beads give.
