Better photo of the finished top is coming!!!

Swatched with yarn held double. The swatch did bias when it hit the water but not as bad as with one strand. When laid out and adjusted to dry (no pins), the swatch stayed straight! Gauge is 22 sts and 32 rows/4”. The yarn is oh so soft!

My knitting feels sloppy, uneven, loose and too big. However, I am going to trust my swatch which bloomed a lot, evened out the stitches and also shrank.

I was sooo close to finishing this BUT when trying it on, I pulled the cable out by accident :( I lost even more stitches when taking it off… So, I had it in time out for a while. I needed to calm down a bit before picking up all the stitches again.

Finished! I love the top, its gorgeous! Knitting this was quick and the lace keeps it interesting. I will definitely be making another one of these!!!

During the time of this test, a friend of mine suddenly past away due to an aneurysm. Her name is Marjorie and I will dedicate this top to her - Marjorie’s Meadows.
