Notes

Found myself a pattern to use with this lovely coloured yarn.

22-04-2019

I started out with a smaller hook, I believe 6mm, but you can really use quite a larger hook on this than you might think. I went with 8mm in the end. The fabric becomes nice and stretchy, especially the parts with the back loop only slip stitches. I did 10 repeats of the pattern base to reach a length of about 60 cm before I sealed the end together. I made a seam with a smaller hook in the hopes of making it less visible. The seam is in the back, and I used slip stitches for it.

The yarn is very nice. It’s different in that it seems almost felted instead of plied. The advantage is that you can’t really stick your hook through the yarn.
