Making another one of these! With a lovely yarn that I found at a local wool store in Delft.

I had to start over, since I had managed to skip row 1 at my first try…

Ok, I didn’t skip the first row, it turns out that there are 2 patterns around, and I mixed them up. In the end, I followed the old pattern.

I changed a few things for the rim. For the first row, I alternated 1 sc and 2 sc’s per stitch, starting and ending with 1 sc (I went to 47 stitches in the row below instead of 46 to do that). Then for the next few rows, I picked a stitch in the middle and 2 stitches a bit to the side, and those stitches got 2 sc’s, the rest got one. The extra stitches help the rim to stand out from your face a bit more. That way, it’s not getting in front of your eyes. I also decreased the number of rows in the rim, I think by 2.
