Special cast on on international women’s day.

A classic piece with an entertaining and unusual shape. Beautifully neat edge solution and technically very well constructed (doesn’t seem to need any improvement by blocking)!

Difficult to get an overview of this construction. Pictures don’t show it in detail, no schematic.

Collar: Pick up 214sts out of approx 324 edge stitches, i.e. relation is 2sts out of 3.
Italian bind off.

Turns out that my 3 skeins are dyed differently, - light, medium and dark.
Light skein: center and start of wings.
Medium skein: collar and mainly for wings.
Dark skein: outer wings and bind off.
