My choice are high contrasting neutrals with a hint of color pop:

Clue 1
A short clue with fine mosaic motives. Oops, my original color selection with olive brown (waldspaziergang) as color A doesn’t work, contrast not sharp enough. With dark green (black forest) the pattern is visible.

Clue 6
Adding some tiny color pop dots in bright pink for the last mosaic rows, because the dark Black Forest ran out.
Joining the two pieces with a 3nbo.
