I received this yarn from a Reddit gift exchange, and I am glad I finally found a good use for it! I only used about 1.5 skeins of the 4 that I received, so I still have plenty left if I wanted to make another one of these hats.

The pattern was fun to work through, but I think my gauge was a little too big. If I made this pattern again (especially with this weight of yarn), I would probably switch to size 2 or 3 needles. This was more of an experiment than anything, so I’m not too worried about it not going to good use.

I loved working with this yarn though, and the colors are beautiful, especially with the cables!
