Notes

Since I was playing yarn chicken, I knit the body, then the hood, then the sleeves, and then did the pocket last. I managed to make it work with the yarn I had, and she is very pleased.

The Stella feels nice, but is prone to splitting and unraveling. I had to knot the ends before I wove them in, and I worry how well it will wear, as it seems prone to snagging. Glad it’s for the third daughter, rather than the first!

5.5 SPI with Stella on size 5 needles. Fabric is good. Worried won’t have enough yarn. Should knit from top down, and then do false layered sleeves, with the red as tighter long sleeves underneath. May not be able do do hood.

If follow Little Hoodlum, at gauge of 5 spi, for size 10, will produce 25.45” chest.

Nate Hoodie has same gauge and also goes up to 10 - like the hood, neck seems too low.

Mini Montrealer has the correct gauge, and I like the hood, though don’t like the drawstring and the neck seems too high.

Dinosaur hoodie measures 28” in width now, so maybe have to go with Mini Montrealer? Or wing it.
