Knit to size 6 length (3rd numbers) and size 8 width (4th numbers) to account for difference in gauge.

CO 122 sts with size 3 needles. Knit in K1P1 for 2”.

After neck ribbing, put markers in 20 sts on each side. Before first marker, K1L, slip marker, knit tonother marker, slip marker, MIR, knit to last 5 sts for garter edging.
Continued until 34 sts before marker.
Then K2TOG before marker and SSK after until down to 20 sts before and after center panel again. Then p row.
Do this 6 times, then start decreasing on wrong side too. Until down to 20 sts before marker.

Then started knitting central 20 sts back and forth, and with each turn knitting together with one of the side stitches, until down to just garter stitch edging. Then knit edging, knitting together with center panel at each row. So knit 5 sts garter edging, knitting last st together with hood top, then for next row knit flat garter stitch together with hood top (so 2 knit 2 togethers in a row).

For spikes. 208 sts from top of hood down to ribbing. 13 spikes of 16 sts each. For each spike, pick up 16 sts on each side of center line, and then knit in the round. After picking up, knit one round, and then place marker 1/2 way down first needle.
Starting after that, every other round, knit 2 sts at the end of each needle, and then ssk at beginning of needle. Continue until 1 st on each needle and knit together.

For sleeves, knit 30 rows, then start colored rows - knit, purl, knit, then 2 rows grey between.
