I have always loved and cherished life, nature and people. I am passionate about people, and the potential within each soul… and seeing this potential realized.

Ever since I was young, I have always been creating… an endless stream that will always find an outlet, either through the written poem, or through a form of art (jewlery making, knitting, spinning, quilting, …). If I pause in one area, it flows out in another.

My father actually was the one who triggered the launch of my knitting design work when he asked me a simple questions as I worked on a test knit for someone. He asked, would I be interested in creating my own knitting designs.

My response at the time was “No.” Within months I was wondering… ’How would one design a pattern?’ And so my knitting designing began, revealing things that are precious to me, and in doing so, revealing who I am.

Creating
Breath sinks deep into my soul
To lie in a liquid pool of peace
Reflecting my moments of life,
Until spent, slowly dissipating
They disappear, to be replaced.
I sit, contemplating the truth
In every vivid image captured
Upon this impartial surface.
I reach one finger to trace my
Heart revealed and vulnerable,
And in the stillness I commence
To create the image of my soul.
