I have been a knitter since I was five years old, when my mom handed me my first pair of needles. My first creations were blankets for my dolls. I still love to make blankets and especially prayer shawls for people going through a difficult time. I was inspired by my mom, who has knit hundreds of them for her church in Massachusetts. I recently decided to start designing some prayer shawls and blankets, naming them for my mom and other people who have touched my life. I hope you enjoy my efforts and knit a prayer shawl for someone special.
