I learned to knit as a little girl growing up in Germany. I found my way back to knitting when becoming a mom, and improved my knitting skills. I love simple but interesting designs. I like to minimize sewing and finishing. I get excited by developing new stitch patterns or combining traditional stitch patterns in a new way. When I’m not knitting or designing, I’m spending time with my family, racing BMX, or tending my butterfly garden.

In my life before becoming a mom and knitwear designer I worked as a technical editor and writer and translator for the English/German languages. I worked as an executive admin and proposal writer for a larger Insurance company. One of my other professions was writing technical documents for engineering military designs.
