Hi! I’m a musician/knitwear designer/pattern writer based in Baguio City Philippines. My design work in knitwear started as a creative output for me during the 2020 Covid Pandemic when my work as a musican was scarce. This year 2021, I want to see how far I can push my fiber craft.

A major inspiration for my designs is my heritage as an indigenous person in the Northern Philippine Highlands. I have grown up seeing and appreciating the traditional textile making of my heritage. The weaving motifs, colours and other icons oftentimes represent something, or tells a story. This is something I want to achieve in my design work as I learn and rediscover and express my own culture through motifs and icons reimagined in knitwear.
