I find designing so fun! I wanted to share with other knitters what I think are great projects. Then came the pattern writing… A great design is really “make or break” in its pattern writing.

I’ve been knitting and designing for many years; and I love it! Just realizing these beautiful garments can be made with just one tiny stitch after the other… a piece of yarn and two sticks looping the yarn into itself. It’s really quite amazing when you think of it…

I take pride in being very concise and precise in my pattern writing so nothing is left for you to ponder over.

I believe the beginner knitter shouldn’t have to get lost with assumptions, things they’re not clear with; yet with the same thinking, the experienced knitter shouldn’t be bogged down with overkill in explanations. I don’t feel that’s fair to you, your job is to enjoy the knitting; my job is to allow that to happen, to make it easy and fun to knit this pattern.
