A little extra to go along with the blanket!

Selected this pattern as it pairs well with the blanket Crisscross Applesauce Layette.

Carrying the yarn doubled to come close to the extra bulky yarn the pattern calls for; it will be slightly smaller than the pattern gauge, but it’s for a teeny tiny, so it should work out well. :)

Cast on using two strands held together and long tail CO on to size 13 needles. CO 40 sts instead of 35.

Switched to size 11 needles after CO row, as my gauge would’ve been too hole-y on the size 13s with the Berocco Vintage doubled. I figure that by using the extra few stitches that I cast on, I’m compensating for the smaller needle size.

Worked pattern exactly as written, but when it came time to work decrease rows, switched needles to US 10.5s for a slightly neater effect.
