4/5/2022: Lovely pattern and lovely yarn. Unfortunately, they don’t belong together. It would be way too light to be useful as a blanket. Moving the yarn to another project.

10/30/2024: I never ripped this out and have decided to finish it after seeing how other people’s projects have turned out.

12/24/2024: Restarted today.

1/27/2025: At the end of Rd 41 which is Round 17 of the second repeat (V-stitches). Going to start the border because I am unsure how far the remaining yarn will go and I want to get at least two rows of border. Going to use what I did for my Kaleidoscope Ubuntu blanket for this one. Rd 42 will be HDC instead of DC, and Rd 43 will be HDC BL and third loop.

2/2/2025: Still have yarn. Giving Rd 44 a try with SC BL and third loop. Begin corner with a (ch 1, SC). Corners will be 3 SC.

2/3/2025: Complete at 44 rounds. Might have had enough yarn to do DC for Round 42 but I’m not tearing it back to find out.

Modifications
- Beginning the rounds on the second (2 DC) of the corner. Join becomes (1 chain, 1 SC in chain 3). Use (HDC in chain 3 if turning for next round.)
- Round 9: Finish with an HDC to join. Turn work.
- Round 10: WS. DC as instructed. Join with HDC. Turn work.
- Round 12: Wish I had thought to do FPDC around the single DC from Round 11 earlier. Think it would be a nice touch.
- Round 13: Finish with an HDC to join. Turn work.
- Round 14: WS. HDC as instructed. Join with HDC. Turn work.
- Rounds 15 - 18: As written except for corner join.
- Round 19: WS.

- At end of Round 10: 7 1/4” Square
- At end of Round 20: 14 1/4” Square
- At end of Round 32: 22” Square
- At end of Round 41: 27 1/2” Square
- At end of Round 44: 29 1/2” Square
