Creamsicles for Katherine. Glamor shot.

Counting picture. From left, green marker where main pattern ends (Row 0), 3 pink markers at 5-10-15, green at 16 (new Row 0), pink at 5-10-15-20-25, green at 26.

Measuring picture. Socks ended up approximately 10 inches long.

Another measuring picture, with both socks clearly visible.

Pair of socks, one sock with markers, the other worn by a cooperative, happy adult model.

Seconds later, the cooperative adult model appears to be smirking...
Note: In the next, March 10, photo, she is modeling the markered sock, which was finished first.

March 10. Adult model cooperating, this sock is good to go!
"“Mommy, there’s a foot in my sock!“

March 12. Second sock, taken shortly before finishing the toe.

March 10. I needed the size 2 needles that were holding the graft stitches, for the main pattern of the second sock. So, I grafted those pesky little stitches, finished all the ends and have 1 sock completed.

March 8. Sock is ready to graft; I am not.

March 7. 1 1/2 repeats of toe done.

March 7. After the marker at 26, the sock measured a little longer than 7 inches. No matter how hard I tried, I didn't have enough hands and fingers to hold the tape measure *and* take the picture.

March 7. Measuring 7 inch length again.

March 7. And again.

March 6. Completed the gusset at Knit Night. Much as I love the little brass coilless safety pins, they are blending in a little too well with the bright orange sock.

March 6. Ready to place the marker for the 20th repeat; just need a plain knit row to make it easy. When I got home from Knit Night, I switched out the brass pin markers for the larger plastic ones. They seem easier to see.

March 5. Sock's impersonation of Pac-Man!!

March 5. Flap complete. Heel turned. Gusset in the works!

March 4. Wrong side of 2/3 heel -- so pretty!!

March 4, with row markers in the wrong place :( of broken rib, and the heel 2/3 done

March 3. Continuing on, with broken rib pattern.

March 3. Finished 8 repeats of main pattern.

March 1 (or more likely March 2). Cuff complete.

March 1. Well begun is half done.

1 March 2018. Swatch.
