Yarn Weights Doubled or Tripled

Want to use a lace, fingering, sport, or dk weight doubled or tripled, but not sure what weight that will make it?
Ravelry's Standard Yarn Weights gives you the normal ply for each weight - all you need to do is the math.

But, in theory:

  • Fingering tripled = bulky weight
  • Sport doubled = worsted or aran weight
  • DK doubled = super-bulky weight
