Worked glove to after the thumb pouch and black stripe, using intarsia techniques to add the button circle on the back of the hand… and it was crap. I haven’t done intarsia very much and the results were disappointing. So I ripped back to below the intarsia (about 6-8 rows off the top of the thumb pouch shaping) and re-knit in solid grey, black, and red. I think I’ll go back and add the button circle with duplicate stitch. (Damn. I wish I’d photographed the intarsia before I ripped it out.)
