The Buttercream Thick and Thin yarn is discontinued, but one can easily adapt this pattern to any super bulky thick and thin yarn. One can knit two strands together if using a lighter yarn, or one regular yarn with one textured one.

This design works up in just a few hours.

Elected to work 17 stitches for a little more length.
Worked 19 rows to make hat roomier.
Loosely crocheted two rows contrast trim along brim edge.
