This yarn is busy, so it doesn’t show the purls very well but it has fabulous texture.

CO 150, double cowl style. Luxurious!
Added contrast trim with solid yarn very loose bind off on one edge.

Worked stitches similarly to fellow raverler Doreen’s Simple Rules Cowl by purling the bulky areas and knitting the rest. One can work the design as written and consider the side facing as the WS, if the stitches stand out more on the reverse side.

The wrapper gauge for this particular yarn is 8 st / 4” US 15 10.0 mm. That’s rather dense in my opinion. I get 7 stitches / 4” and I consider my fabric plenty dense.
It would have been perfectly fine to use a needle one size bigger, US 17 12.0 mm.
