Held yarn double and worked smallest size with a different bud and leaf style motif for the inset section, cascading leaves.

Modified bud portion of motif for top center back and sleeves.
Worked 8 row border of shawl across entire lower edges of main sections and sleeves.

Worked 2 sets of short rows, evenly spaced on back piece.

A truly beautiful and luxurious yarn.
I made a silk shawl Jess’ Ball Gown Wrap some time back for this same recipient and she was so delighted, so I know she’ll like this sweater.
