Chained 40 for a little more length.
Worked fhdc as first row vs chaining and stitching into the chain. Always easier and looks nice, too.
Worked 25 r, loose fitting.
This pair is for a guy, so they need to be wider.

Worked the thumb areas starting out a little wider and taller than patt.
