Alien buddies!
So much fun!
Made 24!
Each one used ~ 35 y, ~ 15 g.

Upon reading the pattern and making one, many can produced quickly.

Last year a made 21 Yarn Peeps for Luca’s preschool class with Chocolate Egg Covers. Great fun!

Helpful tip:
Once the body is done, attach all the tentacle cut lengths at once, then do all the chains. It’s faster and easier that way.

Errata:
The directions go from r 11 to r 13.
One can work another r 11 in order to have 12 rows before going on or one can simply move on to r 13.
Not a big deal.

Suggestion:
One can slip stitch the top opening vs fastening off and sewing it closed with the yarn tail. One can attach the clasp fastener or ring once the top is closed with the yarn tail.

Antennae:
Figured out a way to make the antennae.
Threaded a 1 y strand of yarn thru a pony bead. Pulled yarn thru, leaving an 6” length and a long length. Worked 15 - 18 sc over the short length, pulling each stitch very tightly. This made a 1 1/4” squiggly antenna. Weaved in the shorter end and used the other end to attach the antenna to the yarn alien.
