One of the biggest joys in my life is designing knit and crochet pieces.
I absolutely love working with yarn, imagining what it will become and getting lost in the transformation process.I teach knitting, crocheting and Tunisian crochet classes at yarn shops and art centers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul/St. Croix Valley area. One of my passions is knitting and crocheting with beads.
I have classes at Knitting from the Heart, Darn Knit Anyway, White Bear Center for the Arts and the Textile Center. I often conduct workshops and demonstrations at special events and festivals in the area.

I have been teaching professionally for over ten years. My background as a graphic artist in the publishing industry facilitates my ability to design, write, produce and publish my patterns. I am also the photographer. I continuously develop new designs, offering them as classes, with a focus on techniques.

I learned to knit continental style at seven years old from my grandmother, who had to teach me in order to get her own knitting back from me! I live in western WI, just outside of Hudson, with my husband, Lance and the bosses of the household, Alex & Rosie, a brother and sister team that keeps us on our toes.

I taught Introduction to Tunisian Crochet at Vogue Knitting LIVE! in Minneapolis.

My patterns are featured on Urth Yarns, Knitting Fever and Malabrigo websites.

I have had the pleasure of being the featured designer in the publication, Knitability, one of the many offerings of Bakery Bears Productions, which has just been published. It was a wonderful experience and I am humbled and thankful to have been included. Thanks so much!
